DVIP & RVAP (Domestic Violence Intervention Program) would like to thank the Enhance Henry County Community Foundation for the award of $1000 to provide direct aid to victim-survivors in Henry County. With the support of our community partners, DVIP/RVAP is able to offer life saving resources to victim-survivors in the communities that we serve. Funds provided by the Henry County Community Foundation will go towards rental assistance, utility payments, and supporting victim-survivors as they navigate the process of accessing safe, permanent housing.
Mobile advocates travel within our service region to meet victim-survivors where they are most needed including: legal advocacy, medical advocacy, and housing advocacy. DVIP & RVAP advocates have supported 78 individuals within Henry County over the past year and with the support of the Enhance Henry County Community Foundation, we expect that number to continue to grow.
