DVIP to Host 45th Anniversary Celebration, September 19, 2024

2024 marks 45 years of DVIP providing safety and dignity for victim-survivors across our service region. We invite you to celebrate this momentous year and the many before it at our 45th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, September 19th.

In partnership with Greater Iowa City Inc., we will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of our new emergency shelter from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. which is free and open to the public. A ticketed event will follow from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Light appetizers will be provided by our partner restaurants New Pioneer, Reds Alehouse, Graze, and Deluxe Bakery, as well as drinks from Best Case Wines, Fireside Winery, and North Dodge Hy Vee. In addition to lots of laughter and celebration, we are honored to have 15 pieces of art available for bidding during a silent auction. Space is limited to 100 guests, so buying your tickets in advance is advised!
