Shop for Safety – Advocates and Volunteers will be at Hy-Vee and Fareway stores on October 9th from 3:30 to 6:30 pm in Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk, Ft. Madison, and Washington. This event invites the public to donate items from our shopping list that are then distributed to victim-survivors within the community. These items provide non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and more for nearly six months!
Supporters will be able to grab a shopping list from one of our volunteers, shop for items, and then leave them in a designated cart at area Hy-Vee and Fareway stores. Can’t join us on October 9th?! You can mail gift cards to DVIP/RVAP directly (548 Olympic Ct., Iowa City, IA 52240 – Attention: Community Engagement Department) or set up a drop-off time for donations by calling 319.333.4446
