In Her Shoes
Iowa City Public Library 123 South Linn St, Iowa City, IaIn Her Shoes is an interactive simulation that allows all community members to step into what victim/survivors of domestic violence experience every day. Participants will have the opportunity to understand, in a very compressed period of time, the ups and downs a woman may encounter over the course of many years through 17 different stations. This event is open to the public and free, though we do encourage pre-registration as space is limited.
